What we like: Parents has practical information based on real situations along with interesting stories. Not every story is cheery, but they are all very real.many of the articles seem to be mostly aimed at upper income, traditional families.
What we don’t like: Like all the parenting magazines we reviewed the emphasis is heavily on the mother and doesn’t speak much to dads. We find this unfortunate, but not uncommon.
What others say:
“I’ve subscribed to this publication for 3 1/2 years now and loved every issue. I’m always able to find something of value and an article to share with my husband. I especially appreciate the reviews of children’s books, toys and music. They have excellent suggestions. I’ve used this as a baby gift for showers multiple times and always received on-going thanks as they receive the magazine each month!”
